Digital elocution competition

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Reliance World, the retail arm of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, is partnering with Microsoft to organise the National Digital Elocution Competition (NDEC) across the country this January and February.

In Delhi and Haryana, Reliance World is targeting participation of over 1,000 students from more than 100 schools while it is expecting over 10,000 entries nationally during this year’s contest. In NDEC, currently in its fourth year, school children are given the opportunity to match their elocution skills on a platform that integrates cutting edge technology and interactivity. NDEC-2009 is open to children of Class V to X, with Class V to VII forming the Junior Group and Class VIII to X forming the senior group. The topics for this year’s contest are “If I were a PC” for the junior group and “Staying safe on the Internet... my online playground” for the senior group. All students can visit any Reliance World outlet and complete the registration process. All submissions should be made in English and not exceeding two minutes. The last date to submit entries is January 20.

All entries will be open for online voting on msnindia.com throughout the month of January.
