Corrections and Clarifications

The caption of a standalone PTI photograph titled "Snow adventure" ("Newscape" page, January 7, 2009) was "Cool: A young tourist enjoys some amateur skating after fresh snowfall at Manali in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday." A few readers point out that it should have been skiing, as can be seen in the picture. It would be impossible to skate on fresh snow!
