Guest lecture

The physics department of SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala organised a guest lecture on the ‘black holes and astronomy’ by S. Najamul Hasan, associate professor, Department of Astronomy, Osmania University. This is as part of the celebration of the year 2009 having been declared as the Year of Astronomy. Dr. Najamul spoke on the life cycle of stars and how they would become black holes.
