“Make deal with U.S, Israel, China”

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: If India wanted to go in for surgical strikes against Pakistan, it should first make a deal with the U.S., Israel and China, said Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday. “India’s deal should be better than what Pakistan can offer,” he said, noting that “international politics was not run on merits.”

He said the Indian government should talk to China and gain the Chinese government’s confidence.

Dr. Swamy said the prices of petroleum products could be further reduced substantially as the price of crude oil had come down in the international market. “Ideally the price of the petrol and diesel should be Rs. 22 and Rs. 18 per litre respectively.”
