DEHRA DUN: The Uttarakhand Education Minister, Madan Kaushik, has ordered the district magistrates to ensure that all schools open at 9 a.m. during the month of January. The district magistrates have also been authorised to extend the period till required as per local conditions, it was told. A large number of concerned parents had sought a change in the school timings to save the children from the severe cold wave conditions.
