Gaya: To escape the biting cold, teachers of a government school at Paraiya block in Bihar’s Gaya district set ablaze two bags of textbooks meant for free distribution among students, official sources said. According to reports reaching the headquarters, the teachers sent back the students home on Saturday on the plea of a raging cold wave and later set the books on fire to keep themselves warm as the temperature dipped to six degree Celsius. An FIR against the principal and 16 other teachers has been lodged.
