Indian women’s team confident

BANGALORE: The Chile-bound Indian women’s hockey is confident about its chances in the four-nation tournament, which begins on January 17.

“We have been training hard and we hope to perform well at Santiago,” said skipper Surinder Kaur.

The tournament will feature the host, Argentina and Italy. The Indian squad will move to Argentina for a four ‘Test’ series from January 25 to 28.— Special Correspondent
