Warm welcome to CPI(M) leaders

NEDUMBASSERY: CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat, who reached the city on Wednesday to participate in the three-day Central Committee meeting of the party, was accorded a rousing reception at the Cochin International airport. Mr. Karat, who arrived here from Delhi by an Air India flight at 9.30 p.m. along with senior party leaders, including the Chief Ministers of West Bengal and Tripura, Buddhadev Bhattacharya and Manik Sarkar; Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat, K.Varadarajan and Muhammed Ameen, was received at the airport by a team of party leaders led by Fisheries Minister S. Sarma.
