Businessman’s car fired at

NEW DELHI: Four unidentified armed men on motorcycles allegedly fired at a businessman’s car in Keshavpuram here on Tuesday. No one was injured in the incident.

According to the police, Sushil Jindal was returning home in his car along with his staff — Rajinder, Hariom and Vijay — when four men on two motorcycles overtook them near Wazipur depot around 9:30 p.m.

They allegedly fired a few rounds at them and also broke the windowpanes of the car with a hockey stick. “We have registered a case under Section 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others) and other relevant sections of the IPC. Investigation is on, but it does not appear to be a case of attempted robbery,” said DCP (North-West) N.S. Bundela.
