Advocates roughed up

BANGALORE: Two advocates were roughed up at the Mayo Hall Court Complex premises on the suspicion that they were selling fake stamp papers. The police said the advocates were holding some stamp papers which the persons nearby suspected to be fake. The advocates were roughed up and later taken to the Ashok Nagar police. The police looked at the stamp papers and found the allegations to be false. The stamp papers were purchased from State Bank of Mysore, Sarakki branch, the police said. — Staff Reporter
