Pleasant surprises come in short packages
The shortage of fuel was quite evident in the way Hyderabadis went ‘fuel hunting’ around the city, thanks to the truckers strike. With each petrol bunk displaying a ‘No Stock’ sign, motorists were a disappointed lot. But it came as a surprise at a handful of fuel stations, that motorists were waiting in queue to fill their vehicles. The serpentine queues were somethi
ng that caught the eye of every motorist. However, with the shortage of fuel, surprisingly, the auto drivers were not charging exorbitant rates like they do when a situation like this comes up.
