SBT zonal quiz competitions held

KOCHI: The zonal final of SBT Intel Teens Quiz competitions for school and college students was conducted on Saturday by the Sepone Social Circle of State Bank of Travancore, Zonal Office, at Rotary Balabhavan in the city.

At the school level, M. Ashwath and Rushabh Menon of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara and Ashok S. Menon and Arjun Menon of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara won first and second prizes respectively.

At the college level, Priti Chakravarthy and Nidhun Thankachan of Model Engineering College, Thrikkakkara and Tom Thomas and Abin M. Abraham of College of Engineering, Chengannur, won first and second prizes respectively.

Former Director of Collegiate Education, K. Aravindakshan, inaugurated the competitions.

Quiz master Capt. Prem G. Nath conducted the competitions. Vijayakumaran P., assistant general manager, SBT, presided over the function. B. Sreekumar, deputy general manager, offered felicitations.

Surendran K.T., assistant general manger; Job Abraham, assistant general manager; Mohamed Gowth M., chief manager; spoke on the occasion.
