Thrissur: The driver of a tanker lorry was killed when the vehicle crashed on the Edamuttom road, near here, on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Mohammed Musthapha, 42, of Malattuparambil in Peringode. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. The driver’s assistant, Kondotti Kulathur Mohammed, 52, was seriously injured and admitted to a private hospital. The lorry was operating from Ernakulam to Kozhikode. —Staff Reporter
