KANNUR: The public sector Kerala Clays and Ceramics Products Ltd. (KCCP) under the State Industries Department paid a dividend to the tune of Rs.18.45 lakh to the government for the fiscal 2007-08. A press release by the KCCP here said that its chairman P. Ramachandran and Managing Director Subramanian Padikkal handed over the amount to Finance Minister Thomas Isaac at a recent function held in Thiruvananthapuram. A profitable public sector company for the past 21 years, the KCCP had been paying dividend to the government for the past 19 years.
