Tamil Nadu is champion

Chennai: Tamil Nadu emerged the winner on tie-breaker in the all-India postal chess championship tournament with a tally of 13.5 points.

Tamil Nadu beat Bihar 4-0 in the final round to come on par with Madhya Pradesh which had also collected 13.5 points.

U.P. finished third with 12.5 points.
