Separate lists to be made for different categories of pensioners MPDOs to prepare new lists including all suitable candidates ADILABAD: Adilabad Collector Ahmad Nadeem said only genuinely disabled persons would be given pensions after duly establishing the percentage of their disability. He said based on the percentage of disability, the eligible persons would be given Rs. 500, Rs. 600 and Rs. 700 as monthly pension . At a meeting with officials to review the pension scheme implementation, the Collector asked the Mandal Parishad Development Officers (MPDO) to submit list of persons who are eligible for different forms of pensions. He said different lists for the aged, widows and persons with disability be prepared and submitted to the higher authorities. Mr. Nadeem said eligible persons who were not getting the pensions should also be included in the lists so that district administration would explore the possibility of mobilising funds from other mandals with less number of pension recipients. He emphasised the need to include everybody eligible for the pensions in the new lists so that fresh proposals could be sent to the government. IKP-DRDA Project Director Padmavathamma also attended.
