KTSIDC workshop on employable skill schemes

KANNUR: The Kannur Tiny and Small Industrial Development Council (KTSIDC) is organising a one-day sensitisation workshop on the various scopes of cluster-based technology, business incubation, market research cell and modular employable skill schemes as part of cluster development activity here on January 12

A press release by the KTSIDC here said that the seminar was being organised in association with the North Malabar Chamber of Commerce and the ZDH/SEQUA, a German confederation of skilled craft.

KTSIDC president D. Pradeep Kumar said main thrust in the workshop would be creation of a network between local academia/institutions and small and medium industries’ associations in order to implement improvement initiatives through industry-institution partnership.

The various sessions would be conducted by faculties from Technology Business Incubation centre, National Institute of Technology, Kozhikode, officials from the Kerala Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation, representatives from the Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship and Training, Chennai, and faculties from management institutes, among others, according to the press release.
