All-round show by Mamata
VIJAYAWADA: Karnataka’s Mamata Maben hogged the limelight with her all-round performance (three for 16 & 78 not out) against Kerala in the South Zone inter-State (two-day) league tournament in Anantapur, according to information received here on Sunday.
All the three matches ended in a draw. Monday is a rest day.
The scores:
Andhra 209 in 106 overs (T. Kamini three for 50) and 40 for no loss in nine overs drew with Tamil Nadu 149 in 73.3 overs (Hamsavalli 70, Salma Banu five for 59, Monika Sai four for 38).
Kerala 210 in 104.5 overs (Pragati three for 12, Mamata Maben three for 16) drew with Karnataka 211 for seven in 79.1 overs (Mamata Maben 78 not out).
Goa 151 & 33 for three in 33 overs drew with Hyderabad 156 for three decl. in 49 overs (Rajini 54 not out, Mamata Kanojia 42).
