Man held for preparing fake medical certificates

Mumbai-based travel agent also involved in fraud
HYDERABAD: The city police on Sunday arrested a 31-year-old person for allegedly preparing duplicate medical fitness certificates required for obtaining visas to Gulf countries.
A visa application, duplicate medical fitness certificates and rubber stamps were also recovered from the possession of Abdul Rasheed of Babanagar.
Rasheed was committing the fraud along with a Mumbai-based travel agent Ahmed. They were collecting Rs.8,000 for preparing a certificate, according to police.
Two persons drowned
Two workers – Rajuram and Sukhram – drowned in a lake at Medchal on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred when they were swimming in the lake. The victims were working in a steel industry at Medchal and staying in the same area, according to police.
Man murdered
A kerosene dealer Mohd. Shukoor was found murdered near a toddy shop at Rajendranagar on Sunday. Assailants killed the dealer by smashing his head with a boulder elsewhere and dumped the body in bushes near toddy shop.
