Students take out cycle rally

Tiruvannamalai: Students took out a cycle rally and a signature campaign against the proposed iron ore mining project in the Kavuthi and Vediyappan hills on Sunday.

Kavuthi-Vediyappan Hill Protection Movement organised the rally that started from Pachaiyamamn temple on the foot hills of Tiruvannamalai hill. Around 50 students and 25 volunteers pedalled their way through Adi Annamalai, Selvapuram, Anna Nagar, Kosalai, Chinna Paliyapattu, Periya Paliyapattu and Vediyappanur villages.
