Police file case against duo for mysterious bursting of crackers on school premises
HYDERABAD: Two 10th standard students were counselled by the Narayanaguda police on Monday after they were found responsible for the mysterious bursting of crackers on the premises of their school, Madina Public School, at Himayathnagar.
The students were let off after their parents were informed of their mischievous acts that panicked the students and staff of the school for the past 10 days.
Tense atmosphere
Crackers were found bursting near toilets and other places on the school premises resulting in a fearful atmosphere in the school.
On Monday morning, the school watchman saw two students entering the premises around 7 a.m. and returning a couple of hours later.
On examination, he found four crackers tied to Tortoise mosquito coil believed to have been left behind by the student duo to scare the students and staff of the school.
Questioned
On being questioned by the principal, the students admitted to their mischievous act.
Based on the complaint sent by the principal, the Narayanaguda police summoned the students and let them off after counselling them. Late in the night, the police registered a case under Section 67 of the City Police Act against the two students.
