Tiger tracker injured in panther attack

KURNOOL: A tiger tracker identified as A. Muganna was hurt severely in an attack by a panther near Bairluti in the Nallamala forest in Kurnool district on Monday. The panther was also found dead. According to reports, the panther attacked the forest worker when he reached a pond for water. He sustained critical injuries in the back and thigh. The panther was also found dead. It was to be ascertained whether other people present there attacked the panther to save the man.
