dated January 16, 1959: Indo-Yugoslav relations

President Rajendra Prasad and the Yugoslav President, Marshal Tito, at a banquet given by President Prasad in honour of President Tito in New Delhi on January 14, referred to the close co-operation between India and Yugoslavia and the common aim of peace and independence for which the two countries worked. Dr. Rajendra Prasad referred to the co-operation in the fields of trade and commerce, technical assistance, culture and education and to the resolutions in the United Nations that they had jointly sponsored.
