Coorg Blues downs RBI
BANGALORE: Coorg Blues downed Reserve Bank of India 3-1 after trailing by a 13th-minute goal in the State ‘A’ division hockey league at the KSHA stadium here on Thursday.
Arokiadas gave RBI the lead but K.K. Poonacha (17th), L. Lakra (37th) and Ponanna (57th) scored for Coorg Blues to help it garner full points.
SAI continued its winning streak thumping DBHA 5-0 with Darshan (3), Mani and Rathan Muthanna finding the mark. In the day’s other match, South Western Railway (SWR) defeated Flying HC 4-2. Parshuram (2), Nagesh and Aslam Ali gave the Railway side a commanding 4-0 lead before Monish and Dharmendra struck for Flying HC in the dying minutes.
