Huge cache of arms, ammunition seized

Tinsukia/Dibrugarh: A huge quantity of arms and ammunition, including 27 AK series and Chinese rifles, belonging to the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) was recovered by the police in upper Assam’s Tinsukia district.

On a tip-off, police from Dibrugarh district along with their counterpart from neighbouring Tinsukia launched a joint operation on Friday at Boholram village in Kukurmara Sadiya in Tinsukia district, Dibrugarh Superintendent of Police Anurag Agarwala told journalists in Dibrugarh on Saturday. — PTI
