Constable injured

Rewa: A constable sustained injuries after he was shot at, police said on Saturday. The incident occurred when constable Chandramani Pandey, with his police party, had gone to Dadri village to arrest one Chottu Mallah, wanted in a dozen cases last night, they said. Seeing the police, Mallah shot at them and injured Pandey before escaping, police said. One of his accomplices Brijesh had been arrested from the spot, the police said, adding that Pandey had been admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, police added.
