‘TDP-Left combine will draw blank in Khammam’

Staff Reporter

KHAMMAM: The Telugu Desam and Left combine would draw a blank in the ensuing elections in Khamam district, said M. Tippe Swamy, PCC coordinator for Khammam district on Saturday. Addressing an extended executive of the Khammam district congress, he said that the Congress party could strengthen its organisational network considerably at the grassroots level and poll prospects were brighter than ever before.

He pointed oust that there were no major differences among the leaders of the Congress party in the district. Minor irritants could be ironed out through proper coordination. But leaders of the party and workers were committed to the victory of the party.

Union Minister of State for Woman and Child Development Renuka Chowdhury said that the development in the district owed mainly to the Congress government. The Minister for Vaidya Vidhana Parishad Vanama Venkateswar Rao, P. Sudhakar Reddy, MLC and AICCI secretary and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and a host of other leaders took part.
