Additional coaches for trains to Bengal, Orissa
New Delhi: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, the Railways have increased the carrying capacity of trains leaving Delhi for Orissa and West Bengal with immediate effect with the addition of new coaches.
The trains are Puri-bound Puroshattam, Neelachal, Kalinga Utkal Expresses, Bhubaneswar-bound Orissa Sampark Kranti Express and Sealdah-bound West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express.
Additional coaches have also been attached to Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Express, said a release issued by Northern Railway.
Sleeper class coach
While the trains to Orissa have an attached AC-three tier coach each with immediate effect up to the first week of February, Orissa Sampark Kranti will have an additional sleeper class coach, the West Bengal Sampark Kranti will be attached with one AC-three tier-cum-AC-two tier coach, the release said.
Similarly, the Visakhapatnam-bound train will have an additional AC-three tier coach, it added.- PTI
