Karnataka beats Andhra

VIJAYAWADA: Karnataka defeated Andhra by four wickets in the under-25 South Zone one-day cricket tournament at Goa, according to information reaching here on Saturday.

The scores: Andhra 181 in 48.3 overs (K. Bharat Reddy 56, D. Prabhu Kiran 43) lost to Karnataka 187 for six 47.5 overs (C.M. Gowtham 56, K.C. Avinash 49 n.o.).
