Washington: Amid a Mumbai woman’s claim that she was flown to the United States by investigators, as she was a witness to the arrival of terrorists in the city on November 26, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has said that the interviews conducted by it did not involve such travel. “The FBI has been afforded the opportunity to conduct several interviews. However, all of the interviews were done on a voluntary basis and they did not involve travel outside of normal circumstances,” an FBI spokesperson told PTI on Saturday. His remarks came in response to a question on the claim early this week by scrap dealer Anita Uddaiya that she was taken to the U.S. for further interrogation by the FBI. — PTI
