KOZHIKODE: The Railways have decided to start regular service of the weekly superfast express train from Amritsar on January 25 and from Kochuveli on January 28. The weekly train starts from Amritsar on Sundays and Kochuveli on Wednesdays. A Southern Railway press release here on Tuesday said train no. 2484 Amritsar-Kochuveli Express would leave Amritsar at 6.05 a.m. on Sunday to reach Kochuveli at 3.40 p.m. on Tuesday. Train no. 2483 would leave Kochuveli at 8.50 a.m. on Wednesday to reach Amritsar at 7.35 p.m. on Friday. The train will have one AC two-tier coach, one AC three-tier coach, one pantry car, eight sleeper-class coaches, four general second class coaches and two luggage-cum-parcel vans. Train stopsThe train will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam junction, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasaragod, Mangalore junction, Madgaon, Panvel, Surat, Vadodara, Kota, Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana, Jalandhar city and Beas.
