Orissa businessman relieved of cash

CHENNAI: A businessman of Orissa was relieved of Rs. 35,000 while he was travelling in a bus here on Tuesday.

Police said the complainant, Ravindranath Tagore (45), had come to Chennai on a business trip.

He took a bus from K.K. Nagar to Central around lunch hour. After getting down at Central, Mr. Tagore realised that the cash kept in his bag was missing. One portion of the bag was cut open.

The Flower Bazaar police have registered a case.
