ANGAMALY: Karnataka opened its campaign with a straight-set victory over Bihar in a women’s league match of the 11th National youth volleyball championship at the St. John’s High School Ground here on Friday.

The results (league):

Men: UP bt MP 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 25-19; Delhi bt WB 25-14, 27-25, 25-22; Orissa bt J & K 25-11, 25-19, 25-18.

Women: Karnataka bt Bihar 25-10, 25-10, 25-15; Maharashtra bt MP 25-16, 25-20, 25-11. – Principal Correspondent
