Special mushaira

NEW DELHI: The Outreach Programme of Jamia Millia Islamia here is organising a mushaira at Ansari Auditorium on the campus this Sunday.

“Nayi Subah ke Naam -- Ek Inquilabi Mushaira will break the mould from the usual voices and usual concerns on the mushaira circuit. We also believe that our students need exposure to the more radical element in contemporary Urdu poetry,” said Rakhshanda Jalil of the Outreach Programme.

The mushaira will feature poets Gauhar Raza, Ali Javed, Neelabh Ashk, Nauman Shauque, Anwar Alam Pasha, Rehman Mussawir, Abdul Bismillah, Iffat Zarin, Bilquis Zafirul Hasan, Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui and Zahida Zaidi.
