PUDUKOTTAI: Four fishermen of Jegadapattinam in the district were reportedly missing.

According to official sources, the fishermen ventured into the sea by a mechanised boat on Wednesday and were scheduled to return home the next day.

The president of the Jegadapattinam Fishermen Welfare Association, G. Ramakrishnan, claimed that the fishermen had been allegedly arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy for having crossed the International Boundary Line.
