Security stepped up in West Bengal

KOLKATA: Security across West Bengal has been stepped up and vigil along its borders with Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan intensified in view of Republic Day celebrations on Monday.

Special arrangements have been made in the part of the city where the Republic Day parade is to be held. Watch towers have been set up and closed circuit cameras installed along the route.
