VIJAYAWADA: A 15-member Andhra Cricket Association team comprising players from State u-16 and u-19 teams will leave for New Zealand for a three-week long exposure trip, said ACA secretary V. Chamusdeswaranth here on Monday. “The team will leave for Auckland in the last week of February. Andhra emerged South Zone champions in u-16 and the u-19 team also fared well this season. As a token of appreciation, ACA is sending the team to play aboard,” Chamundeswaranath said. The team: D.B. Prashanth Kumar, D. Siva Kumar, T. Vamsi Krishna, M. Ajay Kumar, B. Kho kho tourneyEight teams representing South-West and North-East Zones will take part in the three-day all-India inter-zonal inter-university kho kho (men’s) tournament from January 27 at Acharya Nagarjuna University campus. The teams: ANU (Guntur), Mumbai, Shivaji, Mysore, Kurukshetra, Panjab, Panjabi and D.D.U. Gorakhpur Universities.
