Discom distinction

The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh has distinguished itself by reducing transmission losses and setting records at the national level, according to its CMD N. Gulzar.

Participating in the Republic Day celebration, he said the company created a record by reducing aggregate transmission and distribution losses up to 7 per cent. Besides achieving 100 per cent revenue collection, it reduced distribution transformer failures to 0.5 per cent.
