SALEM: An aged woman was fatally knocked down by a motorcycle in Ariyagoundampatti here on Sunday. The police said Periyathayi was trying to cross the road when the accident took place. She sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the Salem Government Medical College Hospital, where she succumbed. The police have registered a case.
