ONGOLE: Tension gripped Singarayakonda where an engineering student attacked a girl student for not responding to his overtures and jumped off the college building in a bid to commit suicide. Both of them were admitted to hospital.

According to police, Hemavanth Reddy (20) was studying second year B.Tech in Malineni Lakshmaiah College of Engineering at Singarayakonda. He fell in love with Sravanthi, who is studying third year B.Tech in the same college.
