KANNUR: Family members of the late Kanthalot Kunhambu, Communist Party of India leader and former Minister, have instituted an ever-rolling trophy for the winners of the cultural festival at Aroli, his native place. A press release here on Tuesday said the trophy will be given to the winners of the annual cultural competitions organised by the Aroli Shanthiprabha Natana Kala Samithi. A cash award will be given to SSLC examination topper at Aroli Government High School every year, it said.
