State mourning for seven days

CHENNAI: The State government has declared mourning for seven days, from January 27 to February 2 (both days inclusive), for the death of former President R. Venkataraman. The national flag will be flown at half-mast during the period throughout the State, and there will be no official entertainment. — Special Correspondent
