India’s role lauded

Washington: A top U.S. military commander has appreciated the positive role played by India in Afghanistan. “I also believe India plays an important role here [in Afghanistan],” Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff told reporters at the Washington Foreign Press . “India has taken significantly positive steps to invest in Afghanistan — has for some period of time,” said Mr. Mullen. — PTI
