HYDERABAD: Air Arabia, which launched its direct flight to Hyderabad recently has announced new fares for Hyderabad-Sharjah route starting from Rs.1,340 exclusive of taxes.Air Arabia, based in Sharjah, UAE, is the region’s leading low cost carrier. 44 destinationsIt offers regular and direct flights to 44 destinations across the Middle East, North Africa, Central and South Asia, said A.K. Nizar, Head Commercial Department, Air Arabia here on Wednesday. He said that Hyderabad was the 12th destination launched in India in October last year and enjoyed an average of 90 per cent seat factor in the route during January. As per the new rates, the total fare for three-and-a-half hour flight would be about Rs.5,000. 95 flights a weekThe airline operates 95 flights a week between Sharjah and Hyderabad with a flight daily out of Hyderabad. The airlines would also extend visa assistance services from any of its 44 destinations. Coach serviceIt would shortly announce new holiday packages to UAE.The five-year old airlines was considering to provide coach service from Sharjah to Dubai for the benefit of passengers planning to visit Dubai, just 20 minutes away from Sharjah, Mr.Nizar said. Goa would be the next destination, he added.
