A promising Mumbai racing season ahead
Mumbai: The RWITC Marketing and Media Working Group headed by Vivek Jain were successful to rope in significant sponsorships for the Mumbai racing season commencing from Jan. 31. This season may be a promising one.
Mr. Vivek Jain while addressing a press conference on Thursday, said that "in spite of a significant deviation in dates, we have confirmed contributions of Rs. 3.67 crores, which is up by 20% .”
He also said that " due to restrictions in movement of race horses between the Clubs, the RWITC had to cancel the Indian Turf Invitation Cup weekend. However the Turf Authorities of India have permitted our Club to host it in 2010. Hirco, a first time sponsor to racing, will associate with it next year as well.”
