Indefinite fast by sarpanches

HYDERABAD: Members of A.P. Sarpanches Association will launch an indefinite hunger strike from February 11 to protest ‘betrayal’ by Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and focus attention on their 32 demands. Association leaders Y. Babu Rajendra Prasad, MLC, and C. Satyanarayana Reddy, president, said on Saturday that the sarpanches would continue the fast at the mandal centres on February 9. — Special Correspondent
