Manupal strikes four goals
NEW DELHI: Manupal Godara scored four goals to guide Simbhaoli/ Himalayan Horse to a 7-1/2-4 victory over Cavalry/ Carnoustie in a league match of the Rao Raja Hanut Singh Cup polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo ground, here on Saturday.
Abhimanyu Pathak was the other scorer for the winner that started with a 2-1/2 goal handicap advantage. Navjit Sandhu (two), Tarun Sirohi and Ravi Rathore were the marksmen for the loser.
In another match, Samir Suhag (three) and Vishal Chauhan scored the goals in helping Cavalry Red, that had started with a goal advantage on handicap, to a 5-4 victory over Jindal/ Sahgal. Dhruvpal Godara (three) and Rajesh Sahgal scored for the loser.
The two winners will play the final on Sunday at 3.30 p.m.
