Chowdhary scores winner
NEW DELHI: Monu Chowdhary’s lone goal helped G4S-Hindustan Club record a 1-0 victory over Indian National Football Club (INFC) in the super league of the SAIL-ONGC Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) annual senior division open clubs championship at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Saturday.
Chowdhary scored in the 25th minute to earn three points for Hindustan, which has six points from two matches. INFC has three points from two outings.
INFC’s Suraj Kashyap was shown red card for abusing referee Mohammad Kamil.
Simla Youngs stunned City Club by a solitary goal in another match. Nigerian E. Charles scored the all-important goal in the 27th minute.
Simla Youngs has four points from two ties while City Club is yet to open its account after losing both its matches. — Sports Reporter
