Welfare of Tamils important: Ramadoss

CHENNAI: PMK founder S.Ramadoss on Saturday said the welfare of Tamils in Sri Lanka is important and no room should be given for other feelings.

In a statement here, Dr. Ramadoss said the activities of the Movement for Protection of Sri Lankan Tamils had been clearly laid down. It had been emphatically stated that burning of effigies of leaders and flags of political parties, disrespecting leaders’ statues, damaging vehicles and causing inconvenience to the public should be totally avoided, he said. — Special Correspondent
