Head warder on fast

BERHAMPUR: Krushna Narayan Padhi, the head warder of Digapahandi sub-jail, has launched indefinite hunger strike in front of the jail protesting against departmental apathy. He was suspended following escape of two undertrials on October 18 last. He was reinstated in December but transferred to Jeypore. Padhi is protesting against his suspension and transfer.
